Winning teams of CDL-Compact Singapore Young CSR Leaders Award 2016. The event was graced by  Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies.

Launched in 2011, as a cross-sector partnership between City Developments Limited (CDL) and Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS), the award seeks to cultivate a new generation of young leaders to champion a sustainable future for Singapore and beyond.

The 3-key tenets of this case-competition are:

• Educate our future leaders to appreciate the corporate, social and environmental challenges and to promote the fundamental importance of weaving sustainability principles into the fabric of any organisations.

• Provide youths with a platform to execute sustainability principles within real-life business scenarios.

• Encourage and engage organisations to practice sustainability and possibly adopt viable sustainability strategies proposed by the student teams.
