Widely considered a leader on public affairs, sustainability and business and government engagement in Asia Pacific, Steve has created and led public affairs in Asia for both global investment firm KKR and global logistics firm UPS, as well as chairing and governing multiple chambers and associations, including having served as Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and as Chairman of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce. His expertise encompasses business, government, environmental, social and governance issues, media and NGOs. He has been in the center of some of the region's most impactful public and private sector policies, debates and events. He created and led KKR’s award-winning impact investing pro bono initiative, a model for strategic philanthropic engagement. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia School of Law,and has resided in Singapore since 2003. A widely sought-after speaker, Steve appears frequently on CNBC representing the view points of the business community on key issues involving trade and government.
